It all started when...

I ran across a message titled "Jesus Plus Nothing = Everything".  That was back in 2009, and at the time I was in deep turmoil about my faith.  I grew up knowing quite a lot about Jesus, but somehow I never knew why Jesus would have to die for me. At that time I had asked God to lead me to truth, and I believe that He led me to this transforming message.  It is not a message that is unique or new, but somehow it can be very hard to understand at times.

God was in the process of humbling me in ways that I had never experienced before, and I know that He opened my eyes through the process.  The message of "Jesus Chris is my everything" ( Colossians 1:17 ) began to transform everything that I understood about my true identity.  My worship (proskuneo) which means "worth-ship" needs to be in Him and in Him alone.  This leaves me free ( Galations 5:1)  to be at the back of the line or at the front of the line.  In essence it is true freedom and peace that passes understanding.  ( Phillippians 4:7 )

While I was in the midst of this transformation I went on a trip with Ashley Denton to visit some of Nexus International’s Youth leaders in Nepal. It turned out to be one of the most inspiring and memorable parts of my spiritual journey. I met people on that trip that inspired me to live out my faith with passion and abandon. Now I am excited to share my faith through one on one discipleship as well as through the use of media and stories.

I love this message and I am dedicated to supporting it.  This is why after 10 years of studying and learning and being discipled through God’s amazing and relentless method I am excited to share this redeemed story with others through Nexus International. Feel free to look into it.  You may really be blessed by what you find.

Here is an old video that I constantly refer back to when I think about my time with Ashley in Nepal. The information on the end slide is out of date but the message that I received is still alive and working in me.
